My extra days in Cabo were wonderful, much appreciated down time to reflect back on the amazing, humbling, life-changing week. My little hacienda-ish hotel, the Cabo Inn, was cheap and nice (minus the cockroach roomie in my first moments there). I wandered the streets of cabo for hours both fri/sat, meeting people, people watching, contemplating, eating (i can never get sick of mexican food), reflecting, fantasizing about moving there, etc. Saturday I got to scuba dive right off pelican rock and the finger rock ... i saw a huge Manta Ray!!! gorgeous! The highlight of my weekend was going to the cabo english church sunday to see all the new friends I've made and spending the day at the beach w/ a couple local families (the kids were our translators during the week).

Jessica & I on the beach - we spent the afternoon there with her family swimming, eating, waverunning, and being dragged around behind the waverunner on one of those banana type things that beat the heck out of my body!

5:30 am sunrise sunday morning - can you believe i made it up in time to catch this! Magical!
My last hoorah was sunday night, getting my permanent souvenir... 2 tattoos on my feet of the words i want to live by "gracias & amor" - thankfulness & love. I didn't want to leave this experience in mexico, now every step i take i can be reminded. Also, coincidentally, i got them on the "arches" of my feet.... it just so happens cabo is known for their arch - ha ha.

Bruno my tattoo artist.
